Ricci Leigh Smith

“Travelled with the Canadian Olympic Culinary Team”

Ricci was born in South Africa and came to Canada when she was six years old. Her passion for cooking began watching her mother create endless dinners at home. She completed her apprenticeship at The Four Seasons hotel, travelling to Germany, Switzerland and the United States with the Canadian Olympic Culinary Team as a support chef. She honed her skills in several fine dining restaurants before opening The Perfect Bite Catering in 2008.

Lea P.

“Paris-trained, Michelin-starred kitchens”

Lea was born in Versailles, France. As a child, visits to the fine patisserie shops of Paris inspired her journey into the art. She trained in Paris, graduating with a diploma in Pastry Arts, then worked in Paris and several Michelin-star restaurants before coming to Canada in 2017. Lea joined The Perfect Bite in 2018, bringing her French patisserie craft with her.

Andrew M.

“Sous Chef at the renowned Savoy Hotel, London”

Andrew was born and raised in Vancouver, BC, completing his apprenticeship at the Fairmont Pacific Rim in 2010. He worked at the Park Hyatt in Melbourne, then spent four years in Europe as Sous Chef at the renowned Savoy Hotel before returning home to The Botanist restaurant. He joined The Perfect Bite team in 2020.
